Writing a book is one of the best things any lawyer can do to promote themselves as the 'obvious expert' and I doubt that any bar challenge would survive First Amendment scrutiny. The books could be offered in a direct mail campaign, sold on Amazon and offered at your website. Here's a cool idea for the affiliate program. If someone does sell it let them keep ALL of the money! You don't care about that. You just want to have your book distributed far and wide.

We employ many of these strategies at www.BenGlassLaw.com and indeed, sell "The Truth About Lawyer Advertising, a Consumer Guide to Finding the Right Lawyer for Your Case" at Amazon.com
